What is Nuvela?

Why not just use a stats site?
Raw stats are everywhere. The work is connecting them to the question in front of you. Every read here carries the sample it rests on, the conditions attached to it, and the one thing that would flip it.

What does it cover?

Does it replace my own rankings?
No. It gives you a second opinion with its reasoning attached, so you can disagree with it on the merits rather than on vibes.
Where does the data come from?
Verified box-score feeds plus market pricing from 11 books. Every number on a player page links back to the feed and timestamp it came from.
How is the Read made?
We project each player from usage and role, compare that projection to where the field is drafting him, and call the gap as Value, Draft, Reach or Avoid.
What can I research?
Usage and role, matchup history, pace, red-zone share, route participation, prop line context and schedule. Enough to work out what a line assumes, and whether that assumption holds up.
Does it predict results?
No. Football carries variance that no amount of data removes. We flag when a sample is too small to lean on, show the conditions attached to a read, and say what would have to be true for a call to land. Nothing here implies certainty.
Which scoring formats are supported?
PPR, Half PPR and Standard, with custom scoring available on paid plans.
Can I use it live during my draft?
Yes. The board updates as picks come off, and Ask Nuvela answers in seconds.
Is it free?
Yes, at 10 credits a week, enough to settle a call or two before kickoff, on the same tools every paid plan gets. The paid plans buy you more questions, not more features.
How do I get started?

Is my data private?

Can I get a refund?
